The Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) is a next-generation military vehicle that is designed to be operated both with and without a human crew. The OMFV is intended to provide increased flexibility, mobility, and firepower on the battlefield. It is being developed to meet the requirements of the future combat scenarios, with a focus on advanced capabilities such as autonomous operation and sensor fusion.
The OMFV is designed to be highly mobile, with the ability to operate in a wide range of environments, including urban and rural areas, and in all weather conditions. It is also designed to be highly survivable, with advanced armor and active protection systems to protect the crew and the vehicle from a wide range of threats.
The OMFV will be equipped with a range of advanced sensors and weapons systems, including radar, cameras, and laser designators, that will allow it to detect, track, and engage targets at long ranges. The vehicle will also be equipped with advanced communication systems, enabling it to share information with other vehicles and command centers.
